When I first heard this song I was listening to the praise and worship portion of Passion for Truth Shabbat service. I loved how it sounded and went to YouTube to find it. Of course, like any song you hear during worship time doesn’t sound exactly the same as it did when you heard it. However, I am extremely pleased to say I love the following versions. Both versions are by the same artists, Jesus Culture. Most likely they are portions of the same concert.
This first one adds a little more to the song than the original one I found, which is further down in the article. The lyrics to this song are further down. The additional words are:
I don’t want to talk about you like you’re not in the room.
I want to look right at you. I want to sing right to you.
I placed this video first because of those words. Why do I feel they are so important? Because I have been in many services where we are singing about our Father as if we were talking someone else. We weren’t talking or singing directly to him. We sang songs that talked about our problems or maybe we sang songs about what God had done, but we didn’t address him directly.
Also, they proclaim that there is nothing they want more than Jesus. Now that is a statement to make, a statement we should all be willing and want to make about our Lord and Savior – Jesus Christ (Yeshua the Mashiach).

You Won’t Relent Video
Song: “You Won’t Relent” Artist: Jesus Culture
You Won’t Relent Lyrics
You won’t relent until you have it all
My heart is yours
I’ll set You as a seal upon my heart
As a seal upon my arm
For there is love that is as strong as death
Jealousy demanding as the grave
Many waters cannot quench this love
Come be the fire inside of me
Come be the flame upon my heart
Come be the fire inside of me
Until You and I are one
Prayer Time
Our Heavenly Father, who is in heaven,
You are the awesome, magnificent, holy one of Israel. You deserve all of our praises and every part of our worship. You are glorious and magnificent. Truly there is no one like you, the Elohim of every god, the Adonai of every lord, and the Melech of every king. Be glorified in the heavens and in the earth.
In Yeshua the Messiah’s name, Amen.
Love this song, too. I hadn’t heard it until PFT’s service either, and it has since become one of my favorites. Blessings, S~
Thank you Sarah. I know how you feel. I placed three versions from Jesus Culture into my play list on YouTube. I have a set of worship songs in one folder. If you like you can take a look at them to see if there are any you like. http://www.youtube.com/user/cswisdom?feature=mhee.
