I came across another wonderful resource for all you music lovers out there. It’s called “Chavah Messianic Radio.” It is created by Judah Gabriel Himango. He created this non-profit website to benefit the Messiah’s disciples and amplify Messianic music.
I have been listening to it for a couple of days now and I love it. My 10-month-old grandson even likes it. On some songs he tries to dance to it, imitating me. I’m sorry to say he will have no rhythm if he continues to do that. There are also some nice melodies that put him right to sleep. This I love because music that is praising and worshipping the Creator of the Universe is flowing through his mind as he sleeps.
Some sites only allow you to listen to whatever is being played. You don’t get to know who the artist is or what song is playing. You just sit and listen. Chavah Messianic Radio is not like that. You can like or dislike a song, share it on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, embed it on your blog or website and purchase the CD. You can also skip any song or request a song. You can even put the icon on your Chrome apps page for easy access. The only thing I didn’t see was an app to download to my phone. Now that would be way cool as I don’t listen to Pandora like most people I know do.
Actually, I rarely listen to regular radio so up until this point I’ve had the same music I’ve been listening to for years. If you’re like me then I definitely recommend Chavah Messianic Radio. The variety is great and if you like a song there is an option right there for you to buy the CD from the artist. Judah doesn’t make any money off of the site. He doesn’t accept advertising or donations. He’s doing it out of love. While he may not accept financial donations, you can let him know how much you appreciate his labor of love by writing him.
I’m quickly picking up a few new favorite artists. One of those is the Sons of Korah. I love when scripture is put to music. It helps me remember it better and focus more on the Word of God as well as enjoy some music.
Jump on over to the internet radio for Chavah Messianic Radio and let me know what are your favorite artist and song and why. But before you go, here’s one for the road:
Prayer Time
Our Heavenly Father, who is in heaven,
Bless Joshua in his labor of love and all those wonderful artists out there blessing your name in their art form.
In Yeshua the Messiah’s name, Amen.
I know this is an old post, but I only now stumbled on it via Google.
I just wanted to say, thanks for spreading the word about Chavah! Thanks for amplifying Messiah’s music.
Shalom in Messiah.
-Judah, Chavah Messianic Radio
