Here is the final part of a conversation about the Jewish people and observing Sabbath. It originated on Facebook. I thought it was an interesting exchange of ideas so I decided to post it here for you to join in the conversation.

Well you are not rightly dividing the word of God, we are not under the LAW!!! what does the word DISANNUAl means?l(Hebrew 7:18), This is what it mean: In this instance, the prefix dis is improperly used and of no effect. But its use is well established. To annul to make void; to deprive of authority or force; to nullify; to ablish; as, to disannul a law or an ordinace. The Holy Ghost is in us and the sabbath is now meaning everyday! Read!!! Hebrew 8:7to13, if you can read this scripture and understand it …in it’s right context, then you might have it. We are in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. This really bugs me when people just take what other people say and don’t really understand the scripture for themselves. This is what happen when people don’t take time our to study the word of God, Line upon Line, Precept upon Precept rightly dividing the word of GOD read Galation 5:22-23. DONE..
My Reply:
It really shouldn’t bug you when people don’t understand. You say you are a minister of God, a teacher. So teach me and help me understand. Also, you are making an assumption about me – that I just take other people’s word at face value and I do not study for myself. That is a judgment call in which you have no basis to judge since you really do not know if this is a fact or not. And since you have not really taught me I have nothing to study from you. Telling me to read it for myself is not teaching me.
If you feel I cannot read something and understand it in its right context, then please feel free to teach me. I like to think I am teachable. Just so you know I never dismiss something someone says about the Bible without studying and making sure I have understood it correctly or misunderstood it.
On the other hand, I have showed you from Genesis to Revelation what God says concerning the Sabbath and his commandments. Keeping the Sabbath is not being under the law. It is not being in bondage. It is a day that was made for man. It is a day that is set apart for God, a day he calls holy. It is a day of total rest from all our work and the cares of life. So how can this be bad? We cannot rest like this every day – physically. People have to work. Should we have mental peace daily? Yes, because of Yeshua.
Please understand that the KJV uses the word “law” for several Hebrew words. It’s important to know what the Hebrew is saying to gain a proper understanding. There are also different words used for law and commandments. Greek also uses a few different words for law also as well as having several meanings attached to the one Greek word commonly used.
A final note: The laws of Moses could not give us eternal life, but all that Moses wrote spoke of the one who could – Yeshua the Messiah. This is has nothing to do with keeping the Sabbath, which was given to man to allow a complete rest day and a time to spend with God. It is part of what we call the Ten Commandments. “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.” (1 John 5:3)

Dear Sister,Yes I am a minister of God and that is what I doing bring to the attention of others when they mis-interupt the scripture and not use them in the right context. please understand we are doing this in the spiritual realm(sabbath) and not the physical? Disannual mean that the law is done away, we are a new creation we answer to a higher covernant which is God.
Wrapping Up
This was the end of our conversation. I thanked her for the conversation like I do everyone with whom I have a Biblical discussion with. I do this for two reasons. The first reason is because I do appreciate talking to others about the Bible, even if I don’t agree with what they are saying. The second reason is to let them know that I am done with the conversation. I believe this is proper to do.
What do you think about the information that was exchanged here? Maybe you have more insight on every day being the Sabbath. If so, please share it with me so I can get a better understanding of it.
