Many people don’t realize how many times the New Testament quotes the Old Testament, either directly or indirectly. This not only validates how important the Old Testament is, but it shows that the scriptures everyone in the New Testament studied was the Old Testament.
Today’s quotes come from Hebrew 1:7 and Psalm 104:4. These scriptures describe how angels look.
Hebrew 1:7 says, “Of the angels he says, ‘He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire.’”
Psalm 104:4 says, “he [God] makes his messengers [angels] winds, his ministers a flaming fire.”
