Former Atheist Lee Strobel’s Follow-Up to Ricky Gervais’ Easter Message

By Eryn Sun

Lee Strobel, a formal atheist, recounts how his atheism behind to follow Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He started to research the Christian faith after his wife became a believer. He wanted to save her from that Christian cult. He thought disproving the resurrection of Jesus would be the easiest way to do this. However, this task proved to be his down fall in his own beliefs. He thought to himself, ‘If this is true, then Christ deserves my allegiance, my world, my all.” So he joined his wife in believing in Jesus Christ.

Now Strobel uses his gifts to lead people to Christ through intellectual and rational evidence and facts. He is the author of several books, including The Case for Christ:  A Journalist’s Personal Investigation of the Evidence for Jesus, The Case for Faith: A Journalist Investigates the Toughest Objections to Christianity, and The Case for the Real Jesus: A Journalist Investigates Current Attacks on the Identity of Christ.

Atheists Mock Rapture Prediction as ‘Nonsense’

By Audrey Barrick

Harold Camping has been on a mission to warn the world about Christ’s second coming this May 21, 2011. For those who don’t believe this the American Atheists group is holding a party for the “heathens and skeptics.” The party will be held in three different cities across the country.

According to Camping, Jesus will rapture his church out of here on May 21 and then will destroy the world on October 21. Atheists aren’t the only ones who don’t believe Camping. Many Christians also don’t believe him. Camping is urging Christians to get right and bring in as many souls as possible before it’s too late.

What do you think? Will Jesus come back this May? Will he destroy the world in October? Is Harold Camping just another crack pot prophet or is he the real deal? Do you believe we are living in the last days? Let me know what you think.

  1. I just think that Harold Camping is just another old cracked out [word remove – bad language -csw] who has lost his mind. haha. he says that on may 21 there will be an earthquake all around the earth. First off that is impossible because the world is made of techtonic plates… each continent pretty much has its own… not exactly there own but close enough..a quake is caused by the plates sliding against each other.
the second reason it is wrong is because WHERE THE HELL DOES IT SAY IN THE BIBLE THAT ALL THIS WILL GO DOWN. he bent and changed the story in the bible.. he thinks everyone that doesnt belive him is going to hell…. ummm we r not sinning. u r… HAHAHAH lieing is a sin [word remove – bad language-csw]…. so ill see u may 22 unless you get killed or wait no kill ur self hahahah YA OLD [word remove – bad language-csw]

    1. While I do appreciate your response, I had to remove the bad language. I will agree that Camping has twisted words, but the Bible does tell of a time when Yeshua will return to earth to deal with all the mess that is going on that is not pleasing to him. The Bible also says that no one will know the day or the hour of his coming, but we can know the season. This statement alone says Camping is wrong because he put a date on it.
