Introduction and overview of “From the Aleph-Bet” series 1, an original Shalom TV production for anyone of any age who wishes to read and understand the Hebrew language. Teacher Rabbi Mark S. Golub. At the moment they have 16 videos for you to learn from.
My Review of the Introduction Video
I listened to the Introduction video from “From the Aleph-Bet” series and here is one thing I’ve learned from it. I thought this was profound, especially considering what we are going through in our society. People get married and divorced like it’s the next fad. There’s no sticking things out. There’s no let’s work this out. There’s the “what have you done for me lately” attitude or the “what are you going to give me today” attitude.
Below is an image with the three letter root word for “holiness.” Following it are three words with the same root word. Look at the last word. It’s “marriage.” Holiness is tied to marriage.
“It is the holiest state in which two human beings, man and woman, can relate to one another. What a man and woman do when they marry is separate the other from all others.” – Rabbi Mark S. Golub
Now this is just the introduction. I can’t wait until I have time to view the second video.

Shalom!
After seeing video on tv-I have question-where can I buy dvd of aleph bet with Rabbi Mark Golub-thank you, valarie
I’m sorry, but I have searched for an answer and cannot answer that. It seems his site has been shut down.
The link to the videos for the aleph bet series is not working. My wife and I are very interested in learning Hebrew and we get Shalom TV and have been recording them, but Rabbi Golub said there were work sheets that could be downloaded to be used along with further videos coming up. Can we still get to the videos and work sheets?
I’m sorry that happened to you but I don’t control their content. I’m not sure what happened. I’ll have to update the article. However, I will be posting a couple of more Hebrew resources this week. Check back later in the week for it.
