These last few weeks have been hard on me mentally. I haven’t really wanted to do much, but I realized that I can’t stay stagnant any longer. My friend Precious wouldn’t have wanted me to, just like I know my mother didn’t want me to. So I’m getting back into the game of life. I am still getting use to the ideal of not having Precious around to talk to regularly. She was my prayer partner as well as my friend. Now I just talk to Yahweh Elohim.
I know God will provide me with another friend like her because he never lets a door shut without opening up another. I am grateful for his love and understanding. I am grateful that he cares enough about me to count every tear of mine, that he watches over me, that he hides me under his wings, and that he loves me with an everlasting love. I am truly grateful that he never leaves me nor forsakes me, even when I am doing wrong. This I can confirm.
Now I am rethinking some things and putting together an action plan so I can move forward out of the past and into the present. I’m learning to live for this moment because the past is gone and tomorrow is not promised to us.
If you are sad for any reason, I encourage you to go to God and let him heal you. He is able to do more than we can ask or think. Then you too can move forward out of the past and into the present. Be blessed and learn to live in the present.
