Psalm 146 speaks of praises to the Great God Almighty who reigns forever. Let’s join in and praise God with all our souls for as long as we live also. After all, who can compare to him?
Halleluyah! My Soul
Halleluyah!
I praise you, Yahweh with my soul!
I praise you, Yahweh, as long as I live. I sing praises to you, my God, all my life.
I don’t put my trust in princes or in mortals, who cannot help. When they breathe their last, they return to dust; on that very day all their plans are gone.
Happy is he whose help is Jacob’s God, whose hope is in you, Yahweh, his God.
Yahweh, you made heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them.
Yahweh, you keep faith forever.
Yahweh, you secure justice for the oppressed.
Yahweh, you give food to the hungry.
Yahweh, you set prisoners free.
Yahweh, you open the eyes of the blind.
Yahweh, you lift up those who are bent over.
Yahweh, you love the righteous.
Yahweh, you watch over strangers.
Yahweh, you sustain the fatherless and widows; but the way of the wicked you twists.
Yahweh, you reign forever, my God, Zion, through all generations.
Halleluyah!
